We get passionate about lots of things, and right up there is our excitement about the exceptional people we get to work with every day. Ours is not traditionally a glamorous industry, but engaging with the Capacity team makes it fun, fast-paced, and intellectually challenging. While we can’t put everyone in our company up in lights, we wanted to highlight some of the great people who are Capacity.

Jeff Kaiden

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff has managed Capacity since its inception in 1999, guiding innovation in fulfillment technology and customer satisfaction. He brings a combination of engineering knowledge and passionate leadership, overseeing steady growth throughout the company’s 21-year history. Jeff works closely with Operations and Engineering to craft and deploy unique technology and materials handling solutions. Prior to founding Capacity, Jeff served as Sr. Consultant at Sigman/Kaiden Consultants, working with major corporations around the U.S. to develop and implement warehouse designs and material handling solutions, including an innovative design for the launch of Fresh Direct in NY. He also worked as PM on the design, financial modeling, development and construction of private sector infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia with Hopewell Holdings Ltd. and the Keppel Group. Jeff holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University.

Jocelyn Petersen

Chief Financial Officer

Jocelyn joined as CFO in January 2022 and oversees all aspects of business support and insights, financial accounting and reporting, FP&A, treasury, insurance and corporate legal matters. She is focused on driving profitable growth and strategic initiatives, generating sustainable cash flow, allocating capital to maximize value creation while managing risk across the enterprise. Prior to Capacity, Jocelyn has 25+ years of experience leading teams in companies with significant operating scale and complexity to deliver strong results. Jocelyn served in variety of executive leadership roles at Campbell Soup and Ansell Limited (including GBU CFO and ELT) as well as advanced management roles in other diversified sectors. She started her journey with 5 years of public accounting experience at Coopers & Lybrand and is a CPA (inactive).

Jocelyn holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University. In 2022, she earned Certificate in Business Excellence (CIBE) upon completing Columbia Business School CFO program. Mostly recently, Jocelyn has been honored as a 2023 NJBIZ Best Fifty Women in Business awarded to remarkable women who have made significant impact, demonstrated exceptional leadership, resilience and innovation paving the way for future generations.

Karim is the COO at Capacity. He has worked in operations and logistics for more than twenty years, with previous positions at Fresh Direct and Paragon Sports in New York and LBU in New Jersey. Karim has been with Capacity for 17 years. Born in Africa, the son of a diplomat, Karim was raised and educated in Europe, with most of his time spent in Paris and Germany. Karim is fluent in French, English, Spanish, German and Wolof.

Thom has worked to grow Capacity since its earliest days alongside his co-founders. He has held a number of roles, including leading client services, and currently oversees sales and marketing. Thom takes a special interest in attracting and retaining the people who make up Capacity’s extraordinarily passionate culture. Prior to Capacity, Thom was with Morgan Stanley for 7 years, managing investment banking and investor relations for institutional mutual funds. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Thom was at Bottomline Technologies, implementing electronic payment systems for major financial institutions. Prior to that he worked at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Thom holds a degree in English from Princeton University.

Joe Rubino

Joe has managed the Capacity Information Technology Department since 2016. He is responsible for implementing innovative technology solutions and overseeing the company’s technological infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Prior to Capacity, Joe served as Director of Application Development with Kimco Realty Corp., North America’s largest publicly traded owner and operator of open-air shopping centers. Joe oversaw the day-to-day management of Kimco Realty’s applications ranging from custom software development to off-the-shelf solutions and mobile application development. Joe holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University’s School of Engineering.

Darren joined Capacity in 2017 and brought with him decades of experience leading global customer service teams in the US, Europe and India. He is known for his practical knowledge of CRM platforms, critical timelines and supply chain complexities. Before Capacity, he was VP Global Customer Service at Mimeo, leading teams in the US, UK and Germany. Prior to Mimeo, he was VP Customer Service at Pitney Bowes, a global tech firm known for its mailing and logistics equipment and services. While there he was instrumental in leading the organization’s professional services field delivery team of systems engineers. Darren has a BA in Business Administration from USC and an MBA from Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.

Kevin Bernick

VP Relationship Managment

Kevin serves as the VP of Relationship Managment for Capacity, and also operates as the head of relationship management. For his first seven years at Capacity, he served as a valued member of the sales team where his focus was on new opportunities. Kevin aims to work closely with existing clients to ensure long-term alignment, while presenting new and exciting solutions. Prior to Capacity, Kevin worked as an outside sales representative for Process Technologies, a small distributor of process equipment and industrial flooring. Kevin is an alumnus of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and holds a BS in Marine Engineering and Shipboard Management.

Nikil Prabhakar

Vice President Sales

Nikil is the VP of Sales at Capacity and has been with the firm since 2009. Nikil has wide-ranging experience in the eCommerce and fulfillment space and focuses on developing customer-driven solutions for our clients. During Nikil’s tenure, Capacity has grown from servicing a handful of clients to working with hundreds of clients across multiple facilities, in New Jersey, California, Chicago and the United Kingdom. Prior to working at Capacity, Nikil worked in the financial services industry with MF Global and at the Chicago Board of Trade in the treasury futures sector.

TJ Moriarty

Vice President Sales

TJ was new to the fulfillment industry in 2013 but was eager to learn the business from the ground up, starting out as his Capacity career as a Client Account Manager. Now Vice President of Sales, his role encompasses identifying business opportunities, prospecting new clients, and maintaining his current client portfolio. He takes pride in building relationships from the initial point of contact throughout the client’s lifecycle at Capacity. Prior to Capacity, TJ spent more than seven years as a collegiate football coach at his alma mater Stony Brook University and at Wagner College. TJ was the Quarterback Coach and Pass Game Coordinator at Wagner College where he earned his Master’s in Business Administration.

Ryan Calvin

Director of Sales

Ryan is the newest member of our sales team, but not new to the industry. He has been in the fulfillment, logistics and technology space since 2012 helping eCommerce brands and retailers deliver the value of speed and accuracy for an improved end customer experience. He started his career at TradeGlobal (a Singapore Post Company), then transitioned to Radial Inc, (a Belgium Post Company). Ryan lives in Ohio, where he also earned his BA degree in Communications from The Ohio State University.

Brittany Visin

Director of Sales

Brittany embarked on her journey in fulfillment sales as initial hire at an early stage start up and helped them grow to supply chain tech unicorn status working with notable growth and enterprise brands. This experience ignited her fervor for optimizing supply chains and elevating customer experiences. Additionally, she brings over a decade of experience spanning Media, Tech, and Fulfillment sectors, empowering both B2B and B2C enterprises to thrive in the digital landscape. 

Based in Houston, Texas, with her family, Brittany is engaged in various industry organizations, partnerships and mentorship opportunities in supply chain, sales and female leadership.

Jason Depietropaolo

Head of Partnerships

Jason joined Capacity as Head of Partnerships in July with the responsibility of building out the first official Capacity partnership program. He is focused on collaborative relationships with technology providers, vendors, consultants, agencies and customers. The program will foster a culture of transparency, trust and mutual benefit, leveraging the strengths and expertise of our partners to strengthen our own offerings and supply chain solutions. Prior to joining Capacity, Jason led the partnerships team at ChannelApe, a software company he co-founded. His entrepreneurial career path also includes 20 years as a Chiropractor owning and operating multiple clinics as well as a vitamin company. Jason earned a BS degree in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University.

Alyssa Singh

Relationship Manager

Alyssa joined Capacity in 2020 as a Client Account Manager and within a year was promoted to Relationship Manager due to her grit in providing quality service to her clients. Her experience and Master’s degree in Business Administration have enabled her to obtain a versatile skill set in cultivating client loyalty, relationship formulation, and conflict resolution. Prior to Capacity Alyssa was with Paragon Telehealth as Operations Manager leading the IT support and software developers team. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Kean University and her MBA from Liberty University.

Kyler Wagner

Relationship Manager

Kyler joined the Capacity team in December of 2020 as an Operations Supervisor and brings nearly a decade of experience in leadership positions within the logistics industry. Prior to joining Capacity, he gained valuable experience at UPS and XPO, which has enabled him to effectively navigate our busiest periods and consistently deliver the highest level of quality to our clients. Kyler’s dedication and contributions to the company have led to his progression from Supervisor to Operations Manager and currently, Relationship Management.

With his extensive operational background, Kyler seamlessly transitions into his role in Relationship Management, where he assists clients in developing best practices for their business. He is passionate about helping clients tackle their toughest challenges through a calculated and data-driven approach. Additionally, Kyler is an Army veteran with six years of reserve service. During his service, he earned his BS in Political Science from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania.

Her versatility and adaptability led to her current role as Manager of Training & Documentation, where she combines her expertise and deep understanding of the organization to support learners across departments. Jennifer’s dedication is evident through the success of her trained team members, the creation of comprehensive documentation, and her HazMat Certification. She thrives on guiding and inspiring others to unlock their potential and achieve their goals through mentorship and support. Grace Chetta

Manager of Client Services

Grace has over 25 years of experience leading service teams and delivering exceptional service, emphasizing strong relationship management. Before joining Capacity, Grace held several positions, including National Wholesale Manager, Sales & Service Manager, Retail Area Manager, and Assistant Buyer. She holds a B.S. in Marketing/Merchandise Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY. Additionally, Grace is hazmat certified and is fluent in Italian.

Kanika Lamba

Manager of Client Services

Kanika brings over 8 years of customer experience. She joined Capacity in May 2018 as a Client Account Manager and quickly advanced to become the Manager of the Client Services team, demonstrating her “can do” attitude and solution-oriented mindset. Since 2019, she has been trained and certified to handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations under DOT, IATA, and IMDG. Prior to Capacity, Kanika led the production department for a retail home textile company, embracing the belief that there is always an opportunity for personal and professional growth in every role and phase of life. 

Working at Capacity has expanded Kanika’s understanding of supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and other key aspects of logistics. With her prior background and experiences, she brings a unique perspective to the logistics business. As a dedicated customer service professional, she is committed to ensuring a seamless and efficient logistics experience for clients.

Tony has been with Capacity since 2004. He has more than 18 years of experience in distribution center management – traditional and eCommerce, retail and wholesale. Tony was formerly Director of Retail and Wholesale Operations for Kenneth Cole in New York and served as eCommerce Operations Manager for Nordstrom.com. Prior to that, Tony served as Logistics Manager for Nordstrom, in Seattle and in Memphis. He was a Hub Manager for United Parcel Service in Los Angeles, CA, and subsequently Air Zone Operations Manager there. Tony holds a degree in Business Administration, with a Music minor, from the University of Southern California.

Lawrence Timpson

Vice President Operations

Lawrence (LT) joined the Capacity team in 2018 as an Operations Manager, then our Director of Operations, and Director of Fulfillment which has led him to his current position of VP of Operations. His exceptional ability to lead is clearly visible. LT has over 25 years of experience in operations and logistics, including working with DEA compliance and FDA compliance and training. Prior to his professional career, Lawrence served on active duty for six years in the United States Air Force.

In the role of Senior Director of Engineering, Ed leads a group of industrial and mechanical engineers who are focused on the IT systems at Capacity, along with continuous improvement of the physical, systematic and procedural operations. Prior to Capacity, Ed was a Business Process Manager for Labatt Breweries of Canada, where he managed the largest Canadian bottle production line and was responsible for key production metrics, employee safety standards and food safety regulation. He earned his degree in Operations Management and Economics at McGill University.

Casey Pipero

Casey joined Capacity in September of 2020, after 20 years in operations and logistics. She fills a role that was created by our longest-standing employee and has already made a significant impact on our Value Added Services and Returns efforts. Most recently, she was VP Operations at an independently owned 3PL company, which she helped build to a multi-site facility with more than 75 clients. Previously, Casey was a buyer and production planner for an international personal care company working with manufacturing facilities overseas and with the Home Shopping Network. She earned her BS from Rutgers University in Sociology and Psychology.

Erin Sheeler

Director of Onboarding

Erin Sheeler joined Capacity in 2018 as the first relationship manager of the newly developed department. In 2022, she was promoted to Director of Onboarding and manages the onboarding of all new Capacity clients as well as the onboarding team. She specializes in partnering with clients on strategic initiatives that can mutually benefit the brand and Capacity. Prior to Capacity, Erin worked for 12+ years on Wall Street. She rose quickly to the level of Executive Director at Oppenheimer & Co, Inc. in the specialized fields of Corporate & Executive Services, as well as Private Equity. She honed her skills of leadership, relationship management, contract negotiation, and project management during her tenure. Erin earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in Sociology from Wagner College where she attended on an academic scholarship.

Venu Muni

Director of Inventory Management

Venu Muni, the Director of Inventory Management at Capacity, brings a powerful combination of experience and expertise to enhance the accuracy of our client inventory. Since joining Capacity in 2022, Venu has utilized her nearly 20 years of success in supply chain management, inventory management, quality control, procurement, operations, and operational excellence to deliver substantial outcomes. She holds an Executive MBA from Rutgers Business School, which showcases her deep understanding of business leadership and strategy. Additionally, she possesses two Master of Science degrees. Being a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).  Beyond her professional accomplishments, Venu is fervent about empowering women in leadership roles. As a founding associate Board member of the Rutgers Center for Women In Business, she actively supports the advancement of women in the industry.

Andrew Love

Site Leader C3

Andrew Love brings over 35 years of diversified experience in Facilities Management, Logistics, E-Commerce, and Distribution Warehousing to his role at Capacity since January 2022. Previously, Andrew served as the Manager of Operations at ADI, Inc., where he oversaw night operations involving ecommerce, cross-docking, consolidation, and pick-pack functions. His career journey began in Loss Prevention, and he has held leadership roles at renowned companies including Macy’s, Loehmann’s, Barneys, and other 3PL sectors. Notably, he served as the Manager of Web Fulfillment at Barneys New York and spent 15 years at Loehmann’s, progressing from manager to Director of E-Commerce and Fulfillment. Andrew played a pivotal role in establishing the initial E-Commerce operations at Loehmann’s.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Ball State University. With a comprehensive understanding of physical distribution, logistics, and automated warehousing, combined with excellent motivation, presentation, and communication skills, Andrew is a results-oriented professional ready to drive success in any operational environment.

Daina Pellicier

Site Leader C2

Daina Pellicier joined Capacity in 2018 as an Operations Supervisor and was later promoted to Operations Manager in 2020. In 2021, she further advanced her career as a Site Leader, becoming the first and only female to hold this role. Prior to joining Capacity, Daina demonstrated rapid growth within the company, progressing from a floor associate to becoming the company’s lead Safety Trainer. Throughout her career, she has developed exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and relationship management skills. Daina holds a BS in Sociology and Criminal Justice, and her tenure at Capacity has also enabled her to become bilingual in Spanish.

Jessze White

Site Leader C12

Prior to joining Capacity, Jessze gained over 25 years of progressive expertise in the 3PL, aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing industries. Notably, he spent 18 months in Japan immersing himself in the study of the Toyota Production System, deepening his understanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence. Armed with this knowledge, he collaborated with major corporations across the U.S. to enhance safety, quality, and productivity standards. 

Jessze’s career began as a design engineer in an HVAC company, where he developed an electronic flow valve for metering 134a refrigerant into automobiles. He furthered his education by obtaining an MBA in 2015, leveraging it as a foundation to enhance his expertise in strategic planning, contract negotiations, supplier accountability management, and identifying technology and systems for improved transparency and efficiency. 

With an extensive background in operational leadership, Jessze is dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer service and forging long-term, trusted relationships.

Kristina Crockett

Director of Finance

As one of the company’s long-standing members, Kristina has been part of the Capacity team since October 2008. She started in Receivables Management and quickly grew the role into Financial Operations centered on managing Capacity’s growing and complex customer base. As Director of Finance, Kristina has continued to grow during her tenure by achieving multiple certifications in the Finance and Business Operations areas while focusing herself and her team on Revenue Operations and using financial analytics to achieve organizational goals.

Damarie Ortiz

Operations Controller

Damarie has been with Capacity since 2021 as an Operations Controller. The Operations Controller serves as the Strategic and Financial Advisor to the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She brings over 15 years of experience in fast-paced, multiple disciplines, cross-industries business acumen, along with strong expertise in data modeling and analysis. As a Chemical Engineer with an MBA in Supply Chain and Strategy and Leadership, she possesses a solid foundation in finance and accounting, project management, supply chain logistics, and well-developed conceptual judgment and problem-solving abilities. She is responsible for developing, measuring, and reporting key Business Stewardship Reports and Metrics that support operational effectiveness and financial goal achievement.

Tim has more than 13 years of experience designing and maintaining complex computer networks. He holds several certifications from Cisco Systems and Microsoft, specializing in cybersecurity and server virtualization. Since joining Capacity, he has redesigned and modernized Capacity’s IT infrastructure, completely virtualizing its data center and ensuring a scalable and high-performing platform for future growth. Prior to joining Capacity, Tim worked for Party Rental Ltd., where he was the IT Infrastructure Manager and was responsible for supporting a network of over 1,500 data users. With a knack for gymnastics from a young age, Tim received a full athletic scholarship to the University of Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Computer Science. While there, he was team captain and was ranked top ten in the nation.

Director of Analytics and Supply Chain Systems

Milind has more than 10 years of work experience in operations and supply chain. He has a strong ERP background with Oracle EBS Warehouse Management System experience, along with systems implementation and four years of SAP. His hands-on experience in leading production teams and managing inventory has consistently led Capacity to greater levels of professionalism and excellence. He is responsible for the rollout of Tableau and the development of business-critical dashboards for internal and client use and KPIs and SLA monitoring. Prior to Capacity, Milind worked as an Industrial Engineer at Alex Toys and a Production Supervisor at Estée Lauder. He holds a BE/BS from the University of Mumbai and a ME from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In his latest leadership role, he has formed a group within engineering to own the future of analytics and system capabilities at Capacity.

Jennifer Plotts

Director of Program Management – IT

As the Director of Program Management, Jennifer Plotts (JP) oversees the Project Management Office-Information Technology. She works closely with internal and external clients in agile applications development and drives key business initiatives such as Labor Management System and ERP implementations. One of JP’s key initiatives was establishing Capacity’s first offshore development team in India. Prior to Capacity, JP was a Senior Program Manager leading key strategic initiatives for the Girl Scouts’ national headquarters in NYC. She led the project management of the tri-annual strategic planning process, board governance events, and national conventions. She even oversaw a three-year engagement with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Prior to this, JP provided executive operations leadership for a top crafting products producer and distributor. She earned her MBA in Business Strategy from Rutgers University.

Alexis started her HR career as a Human Resources assistant, which led to her position as a HR Generalist for Andersen Windows. She was responsible for recruitment, employee relations, contract negotiations, benefits, training and performance management. From Andersen she took on a leadership role at Nestlé, supporting the Nescafé coffee and tea manufacturing facility in Freehold, NJ. In 2017, following Nestlé she started with Capacity. Alexis has a BA in Sociology and an MA from St. John’s University.

Victor Ramos

CSA-HR

Victor has been with Capacity since 2020 and has spent most of his professional life in Human Resources. He started out working for Mattel Toys and then for The Children’s Museum (Papalote Museo del Niño) in Mexico City, where he was the museum’s Organizational and Human Development Manager. Prior to joining Capacity, he led the HR Department at Groupe SEB in Mexico which led him to their US division in New Jersey. Victor was raised and educated in Mexico City and has a Master’s degree in Strategic Management of Human Resources from La Salle University.
