How are you on diversity and inclusion?

We are fully committed to how important diversity, equity and inclusion are to any organization and to its people. Diversity has been woven into the tapestry of Capacity and we can proudly say that with more than 1,000 employees at all of the warehouses, we employ a diverse mix of people including 70% BIPOC with over 40% female. At the management level, 68% of our team are BIPOC, with 42% BIPOC females.

What are your sustainability efforts?

We have deployed solar across several facilities and on many days we contribute more to the power grid than is drawn for our operations. Our teams organize carpooling and shared transport services to save an estimated 50,000+ gallons of gas annually. According to Ulta, our retailer consolidation program with them saved 900,000+ miles of truck travel in 2021. That’s not a typo – we removed almost one million miles of diesel truck gear grinding for just one retailer, in one year, and we perform similar programs with others. We work with each client to optimize packaging that enhances their customer experience while embracing sustainability through clean, new recycled materials. These include air pillows, cardboard, crumpled craft paper, and anything else we can do to balance the key objectives of a great unboxing and a sustainable brand. Our newest cHQ facility is a LEED-certified building. https://www.usgbc.org/leed

What kind of company is a
good fit for Capacity?

What size companies do you specialize in?

We tend to work with brands shipping hundreds or thousands of Ecommerce orders daily. For those companies who ship B2B we generally handle 5,000 to 50,000 units per month and upwards of that range. We do work with brands who only have DTC or B2B.

We have extensive experience in beauty (color cosmetics, skincare, haircare), health and wellness, smaller electronics and medical devices, apparel and footwear (mostly pick and pack Ecommerce). Additionally we have handled specialty food, corporate collateral, supplements and others.

Do you work with startups?

We have had great success with influencer-fueled brands that see very rapid growth. Where we see strong potential for that kind of rapid ramp up we will partner with select startups.

What is the minimum order volume?

We don’t generally establish minimums for order volumes, given the average client volumes noted above. We do have financial minimums, either in the form of a ‘fixed’ portion of our commercial agreements or a minimum monthly fee.

How do I get a quote?

We will need to gather details of your order volume history, product details, current or planned customer experience and other key information. Once we learn about your business from you, and if we believe our services are a fit for your needs, then we use that data to craft a custom pricing proposal.
