The Shipping Process
Completed orders are brought to a manifesting station, and their package details are transmitted to the shipper (Fedex/UPS/Airborne/USPS or common carrier) for processing. At this manifesting station, each package receives a tracking number from the shipper and a compliant shipping label. The package leaves Capacity's control as the package is loaded onto a truck and the manifest is subsequently closed.

Shipper Links
Tight integration with shippers ensures a smooth transfer of control from Capacity to the shipper. As shipment details (destination, size, weight) are passed to the shipper through an automated manifesting system, a compliant shipping label prints out, and package tracking details are passed back into the WMS. A postal zip code may also be set up inside the shipping department if the volume of packages sent via the United States Postal Service warrants the expenditure. "Capacity" can be removed from the return address label if requested and replaced with our client's information.

Shipping Consolidation
Our discounted freight charges from UPS, FedEx, DHL and common carriers are based on our customers' combined volume. This allows us to offer much lower shipping rates than these customers could get otherwise themselves.

Additionally, we are able to optimize ship-from locations based on distribution data from clients, reducing shipping costs even further.

From our optimal NJ-based locations, we are able to offer:
