Q: How much business should I be doing every month?

A: We thrive on our ability to assist your in ramping up your operations, with consultation on designing and customizing your supply change needs. We service all size businesses, ranging from 1 order to 1,500 orders per day and with shipping to the likes of Wal-Mart, Saks 5th Avenue and QVC and/or international distributors, small boutiques, and, of course, XYZ consumer!

Q: What type of clients would use Capacity’s services and capabilities?


A: Capacity provides a solution for a variety of small to mid size clients that include business-to-business, Electronic Data Interchange (“EDI”), special distribution needs such as Wal-Mart’s replenishment program, and QVC direct, and business-to-consumer distribution, including manufacturers, distributors and publishing.
With our online order management application, all our Clients enjoy real-time access to inventory, order management and customer information with direct links to third party tracking software provided by UPS/FedEx and USPS.

Q: How do you bill us for services provided?

A: Our pricing is customized specifically to your business, based on a combined 50 + years consulting experience in warehousing and logistics. You pay only for what resources you use and with NO hidden fees. We charge you one transactional fee at the time of shipment only – meaning that you pay for Capacity’s services only when you elect to use them!

Q: How much do we pay for shipping? What ship methods are available to us?

A: We offer you our volume driven shipping discounts with all major carriers, essentially turning your shipping department into a profit center. We have standing pickups with all major carriers and will stage each order by the carrier and service level of your choice. Integration

Q: Is your system compatible with my existing website, ERP system or sales channel?

A: Capacity can integrate with virtually any e-commerce, legacy or order management system, including QuickBooks. Integrating Capacity as an order fulfillment back-end is easy and affordable and where you maintain visibility into your business operations at all times as if you were onsite. Q: How do you provide visibility into an order’s status? Can my sales staff view that?

A: We provide you access to our Online Order Management System providing real-time access to order status, order history, inventory, shipping status, receiving, etc. We provide you with both online and nightly reports customized to your growing business!

Fulfillment Services

Q: What’s your turnaround time?

A: We customize our operations to your service level agreements and overall business needs! In most cases we offer guaranteed one business day fulfillment although most orders are shipped the same day. Emergency orders are always given our best efforts, extending to our 8PM (EST) shipping window with our major carriers provided by the proximity of these major distribution centers to our locations.

Q: How can I be sure my product is sent on time?

A: Fulfillment is our specialty and we do it best. We start processing your order as soon as it is received. Orders are typically shipped within one business day. As soon as your order is shipped the tracking information is updated on the web and you can see it on line from anywhere. If you so choose we can also send an email to your customer with order status, tracking information and/or a customized message.

Q: How are mistakes handled?

A: We guarantee not only fast but accurate processing of your orders. If any mistakes ever happen you are not charged any fulfillment for that order and we will ship the replacement item at our cost.

Q: Do you offer Contract Packaging or Assembly Services?

A: We offer full service contract packaging and assembly, ranging in services from package assembly, over wrapping, shrink banding, batch code tracking, case packing, gift assembly and kitting, price ticketing, UPC labeling, etc. Click here for more information.

Customer Care

Q: I'd like my buyers to know the status of their orders. Can you do that?

A: Capacity ensures that both our clients and their customers are aware of exactly where their order is. Clients can track an order as its processed and rest assured that all orders received by Capacity will be shipped within one business day. Every package leaving our facility bears a tracking number and based on the client's preference, we notify the client's customers as soon as their order is shipped. We feel that by doing this, the customer is much more comfortable with the transaction and the merchant resulting in repeat business for the Client.

Q: Do you offer delivery confirmation?

A: Our systems are directly integrated with FedEx/UPS/USPS for real-time online shipment tracking, proof of delivery and ship expenses.

Q: What other means in addition to phone, do you have to provide customer service?

A: As a contact center, we're here to facilitate your business via multiple distribution channels. Your dedicated customer support team can process communication via telephone, email or any traditional channels you prefer.

Storage

Q: How is my product protected from theft and other hazards?

A: Our facility has 24/7 monitoring of the electronic security system and is equipped with a state of the art sprinkler system, camera systems and security personnel during all operating hours. Capacity insures our Clients against negligence at all times and will reimburse any loss or damage in excess of pre-determined limits.

Q: My products are quite small. Can I save on storage in any way?

A: We do not profit by offering storage and maintain an electronic inventory at all times and in real-time. This means that by commingling your inventory and deploying a FIFO picking methodology, we can significantly minimize your storage costs!

Q: What visibility do you offer into my inventory? Can I monitor stock levels?


A: As a Capacity client, you will get access to our online portal detailing your inventory and order history in real-time 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. As orders are shipped and inventory received, the inventory count will be adjusted in real-time. We perform periodic cycle counts of your inventory, helpful in detecting any concealed damages and/or expired products!
